March on Washington

It’s been seven years since the United States invaded Iraq.  Now, with even more determination, anti-war demonstrators are taking to the streets to protest America’s involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The March on Washington took place on March 20, 2010.

Japanese Street Festival

Japan gave the U.S. 3000 cherry blossom trees almost a hundred years ago.  To celebrate the Japanese culture, the Sakura Matsuri, or street festival, takes place directly after the Cherry Blossom Parade.
